Biscuits are a common staple in Southern homes. They invoke a nostalgia that brings each diner closer to home. Learning how to make biscuits from my grandmother, I found myself always going for the ‘ugly one’. When cutting biscuits, there will always be leftover dough; those leftovers create the ‘Ugly Biscuit’ - the most interesting & imperfect one in the batch.
